About Melissa

I am your trainer and motivator. I am a Group Fitness Trainer certified by Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). I also hold a SurfSet certificate. I am excited to help you achieve your goals of living a fit and healthy life. I am a 34 year old mother of two boys. In past years I have become an avid fitness enthusiast. I have been a runner since before high school; this is something I love. I have continued this love in the past years by racing lots of local races. I completed my first marathon in Oct 2012, but have completed multiple 10 milers and half marathons, along with 5k's. I finished Tough Mudder in April 2013, and have completed several intense workout series. I love to run but I also love interval and weight training. You need all aspects of exercises to become truly strong and fit. With my program you will get variety and guidance on your non-class days.
